In May, the AOV from Multi-Brand Retail was the highest, at $168 – this is a 13% spike from April. In general, over the past twelve months, Luxury & Jewelry has seen the highest average order values, at $228, and Beauty & Personal Care has seen the lowest, at $70.
EMEA has witnessed the largest average order values overall ($123), followed by APAC ($122), and then Americas ($119). And in terms of device type, desktop has been responsible for average order values of $136, with mobile representing $110, and $81 from tablet.
Major trends noticed:
Luxury & Jewelry — fell by 63% in average order value, from $220 in April to $115 in May.
Consumer Goods — rose by 14% in average order value, from $106 in April to $122 in May.
Multi-Brand Retail — rose by 13% in average order value, from $147 in April to $168 in May.
Home & Furniture — rose by 17% in average order value, from $43 in April to $51 in May.
