Average order value statistics

In July, the AOV from Luxury & Jewelry was the highest, at $92 – this is a 141% drop from June. In general, over the past twelve months, Luxury & Jewelry has seen the highest average order values, at $426, and Pet Care & Veterinary Services has seen the lowest, at $62.

EMEA has witnessed the largest average order values overall ($219), followed by Americas ($159), and then APAC ($120). And in terms of device type, desktop has been responsible for average order values of $265, with mobile representing $169, and $164 from tablet.

Major trends noticed:

Pet Care & Veterinary Services — fell by 141% in average order value, from $58 in June to $10 in July.

Beauty & Personal Care — fell by 147% in average order value, from $78 in June to $12 in July.

Multi-Brand Retail — fell by 146% in average order value, from $121 in June to $19 in July.

Home & Furniture — fell by 149% in average order value, from $288 in June to $42 in July.

Consumer Goods — fell by 127% in average order value, from $247 in June to $55 in July.

Fashion, Accessories, and Apparel — fell by 150% in average order value, from $303 in June to $43 in July.

Food & Beverage — fell by 149% in average order value, from $96 in June to $14 in July.

Luxury & Jewelry — fell by 141% in average order value, from $530 in June to $92 in July.
